From the start TM were truly professional, the creativity and calm that was instilled was exemplary. The vision, presentation, creation and delivery of the project was fabulous. It has helped the hotel create a solid identity on Ireland’s No1 Tourist destination. I really enjoyed the whole process from start to finish…

What we did
Brand Strategy & Identity Design for Print Wayfinding & Environmental
The Causeway Hotel takes the best of traditional Irish hospitality, local food and cosy surroundings, and delivers a great experience that comes with the feeling of being a part of the history of the Causeway. We worked closely with the National Trust, who bought the hotel in 2002 to ensure an identity that was unique and bold enough for the hotel but that sat respectfully with the National Trust brand.
Using the iconic, historical and striking sign as a starting point, we refined and crafted a carefully balanced logotype and identity. We identified the key defining characteristics of the Victorian typeface and developed a smoother, more balanced modern cut of the Causeway Hotel logotype.
Alongside the identity, we also created a signage & wayfinding system for the interior of the hotel. We helped apply the identity through hotel collateral and environmental graphics. Stories of the Causeway and hotel are dotted throughout, on beer mats, menus or in bedrooms, making the most of their rich history of this location.
