I studied graphic design in sunny Falmouth where the close-knit community has given me a real enthusiasm and trust for discussion and collaboration within design. While studying I was awarded membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers.
Being part of Thomas.Matthews and the Useful Simple Trust since 2013 has given me the opportunity to work alongside some of the countries top engineers, architects and sustainability thinkers. This has allowed me to develop a unique range of skills and insight and has fuelled my enthusiasm for design in the built environment and urban living. In 2015 I was awarded the Design Council’s, Ones to Watch award for the work I had completed here.
I am excited by design that aims to seek out the cause of the problem, before setting about an aesthetic solution. I believe in broad research and strong concepts as a tool for creating unique aesthetics and practical systems to be worked within.
I am currently studying Interior Architecture in The Hague and work with Thomas.Matthews on a project by project basis.
