Thomas.Matthews is celebrating 20 years of collaboration with landscape architect Grant Associates and architect Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. The exhibition will showcase projects shared since 1997 when they first met on The Earth Centre.
Collaborative by Nature opens at FCBStudios’s office in Fitzrovia on Monday 4 June 2018 and runs until Friday 29 June. It will feature global work by all three studios, which share a common belief in collaboration, sustainability and a passion for the natural environment.
Projects featured include Singapore’s highly acclaimed Gardens by the Bay, the Stirling Prize-winning Accordia housing development in Cambridge and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
The exhibition also highlights a couple of ongoing environmental campaigns. ‘Never Turn Your Back on the Ocean’ is our founder’s initiative to create awareness about, and combat the evils of plastic marine waste. Grant Associates is meanwhile working with FCBStudios, Buro Happold and Bristol Zoological Society to help preserve the habitat of Madagascar’s threatened blue-eyed black lemur.
Collaborative by Nature runs on weekdays between 9am and 5.30pm from 4-29 June, coinciding with the London Festival of Architecture, at FCBStudios, 20 Tottenham Street, London W1T 4RG.
