The new Town & Country Planning Association logo resonates historically with the TCPA and its beginnings as the Garden Cities Association; garden cities were conceived diagrammatically within concentric rings of rail, road and green spaces. The vibrating circles also serve to modernise the perception of the charity, to act as the ‘voice’ of TCPA and to represent the energetic buzz of a think tank. Our re-design of their monthly journal uses simple typography, bold graphics and vibrant colours. The new B5 format was inspired by working back from the press sheet size, to create the most practical and sustainable solution.
